Post-session guidance
Integration practices & gentle reminders
Sound Stays With You
Sound can be with you for a few hours to a few days. Integration can unfold gently in all kinds of ways through dreams, emotions, clarity, or simply a sense of quiet. Give yourself permission to move slowly and receive.
Sound medicine works at the cellular level, so the shifts may be subtle or not noticeable at all. You may or may not experience any of these things, and that's also okay. Honor your experience exactly as it is. There is no right or wrong way to integrate.
Be gentle with yourself
Treat yourself with the same care and patience you'd offer someone you love. Sound integration is a process that unfolds in its own time.
Take your time grounding
You may feel tender or energetically sensitive. Let yourself land gently. There's no rush to be "back to normal."
Emotional waves
Feelings, big or small, may arise hours or days after a session. You may notice energy highs and lows. This is a natural part of release. Be present and ride the waves as they come.
Temperature shifts
Warmth or chills signal your body is regulating. Warm signals absorbed energy. Cool signals released energy. Both are signs of healing.
Don't rush to drive
Dreaminess, spaciness, and a floaty feeling are common. Sit, breathe, and wait until you feel fully present before getting behind the wheel.
Rest if you need it
Sleep and napping after a session is deeply healing. Your body is processing and integrating at a cellular level.
Hydrate
Drink plenty of water. Sound healing moves energy through the body, and water supports that process.
Create & reflect
Journal, draw, cook, dance, or whatever calls to you. Creative and reflective activities help integrate the session.
Move your body
A gentle walk, stretch, or shake can help energy move through you. Even slow, intentional movement supports the release process.
